The Big Give Syria Emergency Appeal

The Big Give Syria Emergency Appeal raised £140,000 to help those most affected by the escalating violence in Syria.

The conflict has forced millions of people to leave their homes, leaving them without access to food, water or a safe place to live.

In April 2013, the Big Give launched an emergency match fund to double donations to charities helping Syrian families to survive the crises and rebuild their lives. The public response was overwhelming and the match funding was exhausted quickly. The appeal helped to raise money for 11 charities working in Syria, including the Disasters Emergency Committee, Oxfam and Medair UK.
